The Youth Group is a group of dynamic high school and jr. high youth who meet for fun activities and to support the community of Fairbanks. We also have fundraisers and the high school youth travel for Mission Trips &Youth Gatherings, some in state and some outside!

This Sunday, February 3rd, is the Revealing! We will meet in Auer Hall following the Sunday School Opening (about 9:30am). See if you can pick out your Secret Spiritual Sponsor!
Secret Spiritual Sponsors
Behold, All Things are New. And so is this new twist on mentoring between adults and our confirmation youth. This year we are going to have “Secret Spiritual Sponsors” or mentors for our youth. Here is how this new ministry works. Just as the new vision for the year has a mysterious component, so does this. Adults will be partnered up with our youth. At the beginning of the program, the adults will pray for and support their one youth through notes. The youth will not know the “Secret Spiritual Sponsor” who is praying for and supporting them. Part of the joy will be in the youth trying to figure out which adult is their mentor. In December, the youth will find out the identity of their sponsors. Then the relationship will continue into the spring. Sponsors will be invited to confirmation learning evenings and will be invited to service and social events. Faithful adults have a great impact on the faith of a youth. So why not have a little fun in the mystery of faith and the connection of that to mentoring. Please keep it on the down low, we wouldn’t want to tip off any of the intelligent youth!
